Rooftop Garden
Bees
Matriarchal, Cooperative, Indispensable.
Italy’s First Urban Apiary
Following examples in New York, Paris, and Sydney, ours is Italy’s first urban apiary on a commercial building rooftop in a central urban area. As urban beekeepers, we host two bee colonies on our rooftop, fostering a small ecosystem that enhances biodiversity and promotes environmental education.
An Anti-Speciesist Vision
We aim to promote a vision of coexistence where urban spaces embrace non-human life rather than being dominated exclusively by humans. Here, people step in gently, aware that they are temporary guests—part of a new model of shared living that acknowledges the essential role of all species.
Artisanal Production
Our apiary produces honey, propolis, candles, and beeswax-based creams. Each product stems from a conscious, sustainable relationship with the bees, ensuring a production cycle that respects nature and safeguards the well-being of all living beings.
Apitourism
A form of experiential tourism, offering immersive experiences in the world of bees and nature, fostering relaxation and well-being. Unlike energy-intensive spa services, these holistic practices provide zero-impact wellness.

A Living Archive of Biodiversity
A Botanical Garden of Native Species
An urban garden of medicinal and aromatic plants, designed to enhance biodiversity and support local fauna. It offers a floral environment that aids the repopulation of native flora and fauna while safeguarding pollinators. Our garden features over 80 root systems and 30 plant species.
Through outdoor lessons and hands-on workshops, we promote awareness of environmental rights, participatory engagement, and active citizenship. This initiative is open to our guests, businesses, the local community, and schools—particularly the students of Istituto Garibaldi.
Phytotourism and Natural Resources
Our botanical garden, composed of native Puglian and Mediterranean plant varieties, serves as an informational hub for controlled phytotourism circuits in the region. Through this initiative, Imago seeks to become a reference point for guests and the local community, offering insights into Puglia’s rich plant life and ecosystems.

Workshops
Education, Engagement, and Sustainability
Imago Plus serves as a continuous learning hub on environmental matters, working with local governments, schools, businesses, volunteer associations, industry consortia, and the broader community to organize collaborative activities and promote sustainable practices.
Our permanent education program includes outdoor classes, hands-on workshops, and various events focused on environmental law, agronomy, animal husbandry, and entomology. The proceeds from our educational programs fund accessible services for low-income families. In collaboration with Istituto Garibaldi, we identify families who qualify for free access to all courses.
tastings
Wine, Cheese, and the Rhythm of Nature
At Imago+, tasting is an exploration—of origin, of process, of the quiet details that shape flavor. Led by master taster Antonio Fracchiolla and sommelier Antonio Radicci, our selections highlight small producers who work with time, intuition, and respect for nature.
Our cheeses—cow’s, goat’s, and sheep’s milk varieties—come from farms that reject industrial methods, allowing milk to follow its own rhythm. No induced lactation, no shortcuts—just unhurried craftsmanship. The wines, five spontaneous fermentations, are made by winemakers who embrace raw expression, relying on indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention.
On our rooftop, each tasting is a moment suspended—no rush, no rules, just the quiet pleasure of good wine, good cheese, and the right company. A chance to follow instinct over expectation, to notice what lingers, what surprises, what simply works.
